At Vaillant, climate protection is integral to our corporate ethos, shaping our climate strategy and product development. Guided by the Science Based Targets initiative, we focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions to combat global warming. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our emphasis on renewable energies and efforts to cut CO₂ emissions, with unavoidable emissions offset through renewable energy use and afforestation projects.
We annually assess our greenhouse gas emissions based on energy consumption, including fuels, gas, electricity, and district heating, following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Transparency is crucial, and we recognize that achieving a greener future requires collective action.
