Since 2013, Vaillant has proudly partnered with SOS Children's Villages worldwide, supporting the children's rights organisation across 25 countries. Our collaboration includes providing modern, energy-saving heating technology together with our installers. Aand engaging in creative social projects. We take pride in the numerous initiatives we've implemented together and eagerly anticipate many more to come. At the heart of our partnership is the shared goal of ensuring every child enjoys a warm, cosy home with SOS Children’s Villages.
How it all began
The start of a global partnership.
Often, it's the heart that guides us and leads to actions that truly matter. And so it was on a brisk November afternoon in 2011 that our Hungarian sales office received a call that sparked immediate action. The SOS Children’s Village in Battonya was in dire need - its aging heating systems had failed. Without hesitation, we rearranged production schedules to provide all sixteen houses with brand new heating systems, free of charge.
After this spontaneous action, it became a matter of the heart that we wanted to build on. As heating experts, we understand the profound impact of a warm home on comfort and happiness. Inspired by SOS Children’s Village's dedication for more than 70 years and our efforts in Hungary, we decided to scale our support globally.

A warm and cosy home for those fleeing from war.
SOS Children’s Village Brovary, located about 20 kilometres north-east of Kyiv, currently offers temporary shelter to children and families from Ukraine's disputed territories. While the village escaped major damage during the Russian invasion, it required urgent modernisation. The existing heating system was inefficient and unreliable, making cost-effective heating crucial. Vaillant's donation of advanced heat pump systems arrived at the perfect moment. Facing transportation challenges in a war zone, a dedicated cross-departmental team successfully delivered and installed hybrid heat pump systems. These include aroTHERM air-source heat pumps paired with efficient ecoTEC condensing boilers, now providing heating and cooling to the village's sixteen houses.
