Photovoltaic system

A photovoltaic system is a network of many photovoltaic modules that are controlled by an inverter. The photovoltaic modules consist of several interconnected silicon solar cells. Positively and negatively charged atoms in the top layer of silicon react when exposed to sunlight and then migrate from one layer to the other. Unlike solar thermal technology, in which solar energy is converted into heat, direct current is generated here. The inverter transforms this into usable alternating current.
There are photovoltaic systems that do not have a storage system, in which the electricity generated must be consumed immediately or fed directly into the public grid, and those with storage systems, which give you a great deal of independence from energy suppliers, as the electricity can be used when it is needed. Photovoltaic systems with a storage system are particularly lucrative when combined with heat pumps, for example, as this covers the electricity requirements for pump operation. Before making a purchase, you should first secure the government subsidies available for using a photovoltaic system.
